Today is one of those days! I’m on a pacific vibe at the moment so the works I’ll be creating will all be part of my Polynesian Blood series. Here are two of the latest:

I’m currently working on 4 pieces at the moment, I have more in my mind waiting and others that have been sitting around for about a year to be finished. I’ll get to them all eventually! One of the paintings I’m working on at the moment is a piece I decided to revisit and change a little. I’m going to be testing out resin for the first time on this piece and I’m excited but pretty scared at the same time. Don’t want to mess it up. My youngest is sick at the moment, we were up and down all night with him but for now he’s settled and giving me a bit of free time. It breaks my heart to see children sick. Hopefully it doesn’t hang around for long. Here are some updated photos.

One of the great things about being an artist is that throughout life you’ll discover a natural talent for most things that require a creative mind. Food, interior decorating, fashion, hairdressing. My friend and I spent Saturday creating some gorgeous flower arrangements for church on Sunday. They turned out great and we had a blast. Between us we have 5 children, so all the children played outside entertaining themselves and we got to spend the day together. Come Sunday the flowers were a hit and we had many compliments which was a great boost. It was so much fun! I look foward to doing it again. They smelled soooo good as well.
