Hi Hi Hi!!!
Wow, its been forever since I blogged. I sincerely apologise for the lack of postings from me. It’s not that I haven’t wanted to write, I just haven’t felt well enough to do it. Using a computer (even my little laptop) can be an extremely nauseating experience.
As you all know now, I’m currently expecting child #4! This is the reason I have been unable to blog. Since before I could even confirm I was pregnant I have been so unbelievably ill I just haven’t had the energy to do anything other than try to survive each passing day. It’s been a hard 4 months with this pregnancy developing some very serious issues for my body to get through but I’m praying there is light at the end of the tunnel that comes in the form of my baby will be an absolute angel when it arrives…. wishful thinking?…..I know hehe.
Today I feel well enough to update on the goings on in my regular life and my art life so here we go.
I began painting again for the first time in maybe 6 months, yesterday. It feels sooo good! Also kinda scary. I’m currently working on 2 paintings which will hopefuly be completed in the next few days, then I can share photos with you.
I am currently 17weeks and 4days pregnant. That means next week, I get to find out the gender of this baby! I already have 1 daughter and 2 sons so I’m ok with a house full of boys, or learning to raise sisters. I’m just excited to know! I find out on Thursday the 19th of Feb, so keep your eyes peeled for an update.
Also, I have an anouncement to make. This year I will be putting ehxibitions on the backburner. It will only be for this year (I may still participate 1 or 2) but because of my gorwing family and inabilty to even bend over or stand for a long period of time without needing to collapse, I will be focusing on my health and wellbeing and helping my husband establish our property company. We buy and sell houses and work with a wide range of people, from first home buyers to investors. Our company is called OPP Ltd and you can find out more abut us by visiting http://www.buymyproperty.co.nz/ and http://www.oppltd.co.nz/
Sacrificing these exhibitions has already been a hard decision to make but for now, it’s been the right thing to do. everything in me screams ‘I want to do it!’ but common sense says no. You’ll still see me around though! Just because I’m not exhibiting doesn’t mean I can stop creating, hehehe… and I WILL be back next year.
Before I go, I recently received a lovely email from a woman living locally here in Southland named Beverly Claridge. Beverly keeps her own blog and writes reviews of local art exhibits happening here around Southland. I would love for you to stop by and have a read about whats been going on around here and if you’re a local, keep yourself up to date with whats happening so maybe you can venture out to the exhibits. Visit Beverly Claridge here, an American in paradise!
P.S. Thank you so much for the congratulations

Another Giveaway
by Chavah Kinloch on February 24, 2009
I got this off Michelles Blog. I had to join in because I love her creativity and I believe I was in her top 3 comments, so yay for me hehe.
According to the rules, you have 365 days to send out your homemade gifts. Rest assured, that if you win, I will not wait 365 days to send you your gift.
.1. Be one of the first THREE bloggers to leave a comment on this post, which then entitles you to a handmade item from me (yeah for handmade!).
2. If you are one of the first three to make a comment, you are a winner! And you then agree to post this challenge on your own blog, meaning that you will pay it forward, creating a handmade gift -anything!- for the first THREE bloggers who leave a comment on YOUR post about this giveaway!
3. The gift that you send to your 3 friends can be from any price range and you have 365 days to make/ship your item. This means you should be willing to maintain your blog at least until you receive your gift and have shipped your gifts. And, remember it’s the spirit and the thought that count!
4. When you receive your gift, blog about it! If you are not one of the first three to comment on this post, you can still play along. Go ahead and start your own Pay It Forward chain, and encourage your blogging friends to do the same! It’s all about paying it forward.
I’m not sure what I’ll be giving away yet but it will be great I promise and you won’t have to wait a year!
