Some people don’t get it. They won’t get, they don’t want to get it.
Some people will look at it and turn away calling it ugly.
Some people will never appreciate beauty in the mundane.
Then there are people like me. People who see art. Those who choose to bring it back to life. For me it is what makes the world beautiful.
I’m talking about junk. Rubbish. Trash. The pre loved and forgotten.
We have a place here in Invercargill and it is the mother-ship of old, used, wasted, creepy want not’s.
And it is amazing.

Hey Wendy, it’s a store but with a lot of old buildings moved onto the large farmland and turned into a little village/museum. I first heard of it when one of my children went on a kindergarten trip to have a look. It’s so quirky and a definite treat to visit! I think you’d love it, there is so much I haven’t included. There’s something in ever corner.
Wow what an AMAZING place – I thought it was cool after the first few pics but then it kept going and going – would love to visit a place like that.
Totally with you Alex! I don’t usually include so many photos but the place is just SO good I had to show everyone. I even edited out about half the shots I took lol. If you’re ever in Invercargill, stop by! It’s called Demolition World.
