This tip on how to ice proof your car windows so that when you wake up in the morning your car is frost free is great. So helpful! All you do is fill a spray bottle with three parts vinegar to one part water and spray the mixture on your car windows at night. It will also remove any ice that is already on the car!
EVERYBODY is getting sick right now, these are Vicks Vapour Shower Disks. Just put one of them in the shower with you on the floor and let it work it’s magic. I mean come on… Who doesn’t want to be able breathe when they’re sick?! Apparently it’s great for croup (which I just read my little nephew has so I’ll pass this tip along).
This is a DIY recipe so click here for the full instructions on how to make them.
Jackets, boots, tights, hats, scarves…. I really dislike winter because I can’t stand being cold but I really do love the clothing options!
Re-reading my favourite book. Downtown Chic is a book by self made designers Robert & Cortney Novogratz. I’ve written about them before. I adore everything about this couple and their family and no-one understands my fanaticism for them like my husband and children. Their new book is due out in ‘Fall’ so I’m guessing that’s Spring for me. Cannot wait!
These heart spoons…aren’t they gorgeous! Hearts are my thing, them and crowns are regularly featured in/on items I purchase or create for myself or my home. I can see myself sitting down and eating a nice warm bowl of soup with these spoons. Adorable.
Chicken Apple Meatballs with Honey and Sage – These are delicious! We substitute the breadcrumbs for some oats or leave them out though (just because of our personal dietary needs). Trust me, you want to try them.
And just like that, these winter days seem much more bearable
