What To Expect For 2010

by Chavah Kinloch on January 13, 2010

This is a post I’ve been meaning to get to. I wanted to tell you what you can expect this year.

First up – Giveaways:

I’m going to aim for 12 giveaways this year. That’s one for every month. No promises, I’m a busy Mum of four little ones but I will do my best to have something for everyone throughout the year.

Giveaway extra – I’m going to be monitoring my comments for 2010. At the end of the year, the person with the most comments will receive something extra sweet. So you know what to do!

There is a little button on the right side of my blog, just click there or on the word ‘giveaways’ above and it’ll take you to the page you can find the latest comp on.

Next up – Questions:

I’d love to know what you’d enjoy reading about on this blog.  I know what I like writing about but do you have a favourite post or favourite type of post? I don’t want to bore you so let me know if there’s something you want answered or talked about.

Interviews:

I’m planning some interviews for the year with other like minded bloggers. We’ll talk about business, life, favourite things and motivation.

Family life:

I love sharing my family milestones so expect to see a few glimpses into my reality :D I’m a WAHM so obviously you can expect to hear about the issues (good and bad!) in my life and hopefully you’ll be able to relate.

Vlogging:

Yes! I said Vlogging. For those who don’t know what that is, it’s video blogging. Slowly but surely I will be introducing some Vlog posts. I’m both nervous and excited about this. Ok, mostly nervous but I’m going to be Brave.

Art:

Obviously, I’m an Artist. Pretty much everything in my life can be related back to art. I’ll carry on sharing what I can with you and keeping you up to date with new paintings, exhibitions, opportunities etc.

Favourite Finds:

I LOVE stumbling across pretty things, clever ideas and interesting people. I’ll carry on sharing my favourite finds.

Buttons:

You’ll notice that on the right side of my blog I have a button. It used to be there but for some reason my old hosting company did weird things to my sites every other day so when I switched company’s a couple of weeks ago it disappeared. I’ve got a post ready to tell you how to make your own, so stay tuned for that in the next little while.

So there we have it. That’s what’s in store on Creating My Reality for 2010. I hope you’ll join me.

Commenting won’t be a problem for me lol!! OK so as for what I’d like to see more of – I would like to see your creative process – as in, what steps do you go through when you create a piece of art. I’d like to see some pics of your art as it progresses, say 1/4 done, 1/2 done, and get some insight as to what makes you decide to do one thing as opposed to another. I hope that all makes sense!!

Wow! I’m thinking I need to start doing some 2010 goals. You are going to be a very, very busy person and I’m glad I’m along for the ride!

Alrighty Joanna, I think I can do that :) I love progress posts but they’re so hard to make because I purposely have to stop myself to take a photo. It’s difficult for me because once I’m going, I just carry on until I’m done hehe. I do like to look back on them though so your wish is my command. (Just this once lol) I used to do quite a few of these but I think the last major one was my first self portrait http://blog.chavahkinloch.com/2008/02/
