After yesterdays blog post I was shown something really cool by Lisa B, 111 things in 1111 days. Lisa is doing 30 things in 30 days and I loved her idea. There’s no way I could keep up with 1111 days so I’m shooting for 31! Thank you Lisa (and your friend) for the inspiration.
So without further ado:
- Conscious exercise daily. Yep, I’m aiming for daily and I’m sticking with my ‘Some is better than none” motivator.
- Visit the library to read up on New Zealand Artists.
- Head to Bluff to see the gallery my friend just texted to tell me about.
- Try Zumba at least once – that ones for you Mim.
- Create 2 new paintings.
- Get my overdue smear. 3 years goes way too fast
- Spend the day op shopping.
- Write a poem.
- Phone my Mum.
- Phone my Aunty.
- Get the last layer of wallpaper off Bostons room – it’s taking foreverrrrr.
- Try a new recipe.
- Have a lunch date with my husband.
- Play at the beach, even though it’s freezing!
- Take the kids to the playground.
- Let the kids go wild on the new bike track.
- Buy something nice for myself.
- Create a space in this Creating My Reality community for everyone to join in the weight loss challenge.
- Pick some fresh flowers for my home.
- Paint pictures with my children.
- Go to an exhibition opening.
- Put my daughters hair in that plait hairstyle that’s in right now.
- Spend the day at the pools with my family.
- Have a movie marathon with my hubby.
- Go on a bush walk with the whole tribe.
- Drop 3 kg.
- Bake my favourite ‘healthy’ brownie recipe.
- Get car rego.
- File GST return.
- Change the music on my ipod.
- Curl mine and my daughters hair for fun.

Your welcome! Glad you liked the idea. Your list looks awesome, love the variety of things in there!!
great idea! half of me is saying – shoot you should do this mim and the other half is already practicing procrastinating!
seriously though let me know how you get on with Zumba – I always get a laugh out of it……and for some strange reason if I put in the 20min dvd I usually put on the other 20min one straight after and yet can’t bring myself just to do one of the full workouts from the get go……
I’m really excited to do my list Lisa
So glad your shared with me.
LMAO Marimba. You’re so funny. I have to track down my copy of Zumba now! 40 minutes can sound so daunting, 2 sets of 20 minute workouts sounds so much better. I can see how it works
okie… okie… am going for that smear… zumba??? I never tried it but my girlfriend is teaching it but she is in Netherlands… LOL… drop 3kg… wish I can if only I knew how short of starving myself…
LOL Broken Angel, I know what you mean! Stay tuned, we can help each other out
Lol had to giggle, I make lists all the time but should try this, one thing per day that I really have to d that isn’t work related or art related!
At the moment Im trying 31 things to do in one day…..or is 32…..no wonder Im exhausted.
Hope you are succeeding with yours!
Collette
Cool idea, may try it myself some time when I feel motivated.
LOL Collette. I think you’ve got the formula a little muddled up! I’m getting through the list amazingly. It’s actually really enjoyable having all these different things to do. I might have to make more lists haha.
Haha Anya, I love your ‘when I feel motivated’ add on
This is such a great idea, thanks Chavah!!! I’m getting married in early June, so 38 things in 38 days sounds like me…
Awww wow Kate, congratulations! How exciting
Yes 38 things in 38 days sounds like the perfect goal, I’m really enjoying this little challenge. Good luck with everything!
Gee…..if not for my addictive procrastination to get motivated
Zumba sounds great and maybe I could make that my daily concious exercise lol.
Must start my own list…must start..must start…damn procrastination
LOL Karen. I understand your battle with procrastination! Zumba has been fun though, definitely an awesome workout
Good luck! Let me know if you make a list
.
I have a 101 in 1001 list that I have yet to start on! Lol. I think thirty is probably more reasonable than 101. I don’t know how I’ll fair in this venture, but we’ll see. Hope you accomplish all your goals! Stopping by from the Lady Bloggers. Great guest post today!
Totally stole your idea: http://notquitesusiehomemaker.blogspot.com/2010/05/31-things-in-31-days.html
Hi Lauren, thanks for stopping by! Oh my goodness, I just knew I’d never make it to more than 31, it’s been a struggle this past week but I’m still plodding along lol. Wishing you a lot of luck with your 101! I’ll pop by to support you
That’s ok Susie, I got the idea and altered from someone else lol. Left you a message. Good luck
Love it! Good luck and I am hanging out for your healthy brownie recipe!!
Great idea I’m doing the 101 things in 1001 days (http://mumtoj.wordpress.com/101-things-in-1001-days/) challenge, working my way through it steadily!
Sounds great Jo! Good luck with it all, I’ll be following along
Sarah! I’ll have to remember to get that brownie recipe up. I’d forgotten all about it.
Only want to say your article is astonishing. Allow me to grab your rss feed to keep up to date with succeeding post. Thanks a million and please keep up the accomplished work.
