My husband and I have been working overtime setting up my new blog over on wordpress. We’re doing this because of the ongoing issue between IE and blogger. I can tell you that we’re almost there! If all goes well we’ll be launching on New Years Day. If things don’t go quite so well it’ll be within the week. So do stay tuned. I’ve also been busy with the family these past few days. There have been water fights, teething dramas, illnesses, hayfever and movie days. Everywhere else in NZ seems to be getting sun, we’re still battling rain and wind with 2 hours of glorious sunshine here and there.
This is the last week before the Random Act of Kindness Challenge finishes for the year and the winners are announced. Have you done yours? Be sure to let me know where you’ve put your entries so I can read them and put you on the list the appropriate number of times. I love reading what you’ve been up to. I can’t wait to see where the paintings will be headed. Don’t forget that every entrant will also receive two wallpapers of my artwork for their pc. These will be emailed to you at the conclusion of the challenge so make sure you include an email address for me to contact you. If you’ve forgotten to include one don’t worry, just email at chavahkinloch@xtra.co.nz and we’ll sort it out.
Can you believe there’s only one more day left in 2009? Wow. I’m excited, are you?
Here are some snapshots from the past few days of the kids and some of their Christmas gifts.

Funny for me (from the US) to see summertime Christmas pics! We had a huge snowstom right before Chrsitmas and enjoyed our first white Christmas in years. Looks like you’ve got a lovely bunch of happy kids. I look forward to reading your posts and connecting in the New Year!
I would love to experience a white Christmas some day. They look so beautiful. It will feel a little strange though, this year we had a BBQ on Christmas day and growing up I would head to the beach hehe. I have very happy children (yay!) It will be great to connect in the new year:)
Chavah, thanks for the reminder of RAOK, I try to do them everyday. Sometimes they’re just simple acts like letting someone get in line before me or helping someone with what they are carrying. When my neighbor was out of work I did a lot of little things for her around her house to keep her going.
I guess to me the important thing is to never forget to give. No matter how busy you are you can always find a little time to do something for someone else. This kindness will lead to an opening of your heart & you will be blessed with so much in return.
Good luck with the blog change,
hugs,
Bill
Their eyes are so open and expressive! I love the look of joy on your daughters face as she’s licking the icing, priceless! love your artwork too! glad to have found you through NB!
I’m so glad to hear what you’ve been up to Bill! I agree completely with making it a way of living. The amazing thing about giving is that the more more you give, the more you get and even though that’s not why we set about doing the things we do, it certainly opens your eyes to how great life can be with a positive attitude
Thank you Rachel, I know, she was just SO excited to be making her own cupcakes. I’m glad we stumbled across each other too
