My Last Blog Post Of The Year

It just dawned on me that tonight is the last night of 2009. Another year gone, I got my first grey hair this year…see what kids do to you? Haha. Before the clock strikes midnight I just wanted to stop by and thank you for sharing the year with me. Wherever you are tonight, whatever you’re doing, enjoy yourself and be safe. I look forward to seeing you again in the new year. Goodbye 2009, you’ve been a wonderful learning experience. Bring on 2010!

Here are some highlights of my 2009.

My son, my brother and some missionaries at Oreti Beach. We had a great day out floundering and catching crabs.

Going to Auckland for my cousins wedding. This is my kids at the playground by a beach. I love being in Auckland to see my kids play with their cousins.
Visiting Queenstown for a weekend away. One of my favourite places.

The painting I created for my fantastic cousin and her awesome hubby.

My beautiful Boston.

The Stags won the Ranfurly Shield and it was fun to celebrate with all of Southland.

Watching Nas while he watched Transformers. LOL!

Helping the kids dress up for their production in the costumes I made overnight.
Seeing my daughters artwork up at the public library and realising she also thinks about the little details.

What am I doing tonight? I’m at home sick and working hehe. Almost time to cuddle up on the couch and watch a good movie. Don’t worry, we’ve got some chilled sparkling grape juice to celebrate and count down. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
