belief quote

Nor could I find a suitable pic online for this post.

There are two ways of exerting one’s strength: One is pushing down, the other is pulling up.
-Busher T Washington.-

I, with a deeper instinct, choose a man who compels strength. Who makes enormous demands on me. Who does not doubt my courage or my toughness. Who does not believe me naive or innocent. Who has the courage to treat me like a woman.
-Anais Nin-

Don’t wish me happiness – I don’t expect to be happy it’s gotten beyond that, somehow. Wish me courage and strength and a sense of humour – I will need them all.
-Anne Morrow Lindbergh-

So here’s what I was resigned to use. This photo is from about 2 1/2 years ago. I was about halfway through losing my baby weight. It’s me trying to show my bicep – I can’t believe I’m sharing this photo. That line = definition. I kidd you not, touching it was rock hard. The line got longer and I got more of them. They became so prevalent I would just sit around and you could see the definition all over my arms. Not in that scary shemale way though. Thank you push ups and dumbells.

I know I look shocking but well…whatcha gonna do… It is what it is. I’m sweaty because I’d just finished working out and covered in paint because I’d also been painting that day. Such is my life. This is the real me. I miss feeling fit, I think I better get back to it. Hopefully I’m healed enough now and my body can take the punishment I dish out to it.
