children playing

My husband and I have been working overtime setting up my new blog over on wordpress. We’re doing this because of the ongoing issue between IE and blogger. I can tell you that we’re almost there! If all goes well we’ll be launching on New Years Day. If things don’t go quite so well it’ll be within the week. So do stay tuned. I’ve also been busy with the family these past few days. There have been water fights, teething dramas, illnesses, hayfever and movie days. Everywhere else in NZ seems to be getting sun, we’re still battling rain and wind with 2 hours of glorious sunshine here and there.

This is the last week before the Random Act of Kindness Challenge finishes for the year and the winners are announced. Have you done yours? Be sure to let me know where you’ve put your entries so I can read them and put you on the list the appropriate number of times. I love reading what you’ve been up to. I can’t wait to see where the paintings will be headed. Don’t forget that every entrant will also receive two wallpapers of my artwork for their pc. These will be emailed to you at the conclusion of the challenge so make sure you include an email address for me to contact you. If you’ve forgotten to include one don’t worry, just email at chavahkinloch@xtra.co.nz and we’ll sort it out.

Can you believe there’s only one more day left in 2009? Wow. I’m excited, are you?

Here are some snapshots from the past few days of the kids and some of their Christmas gifts.

Davis set up camp.

Riding his new bike.

Testing out her new cupcake maker. Mucky business.

The cupcakes she made for her brothers.

Filling up a water pistol.

Vahnija went and set up her own picnic, complete with strawberries. I love my kiddos.

A bunch of paint we picked up on boxing day for Bostons nursery. You can see pics of what’s going on here and here. We’ll be doing more on the nursery this week. Yay!

Lots and lots of fun. Water fights. Need I say more.

The boys prepping.

My little terror. So lovable.

The money shot! lol

How cute are these chubby little feet? The jandals are from my cousins in Utah. I think they’re from Old Navy. They barely fit my gigantor of a baby. This may be the only time he gets to wear them :(

Being a parent is not for the faint hearted. I forget that some days because for the most part I tend to have really good kids that just do as they’re told. Yeah…most days. The past two days have thrown me through a loop but I’m back on top. Nothing I can’t handle. Can’t keep me down! Positive thoughts sent my way are much appreciated. Still love my life but I’ll say this, someone feel free to come visit soon. We miss you all.

On the bright side, here are some photo’s I snapped today of my eldest and youngest playing together. I love how much love there is in this home. I really have nothing to complain about.
